My story took a turn in February 2019 during a challenging time in my life. A week of being bedridden made me ponder what I truly wanted. This led me to a deeper exploration of my passions. As Socrates once said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.”
COVID further prompted us all to rethink our lives, and I decided to spend my days doing what I love—helping others grow. This led me to explore coaching and training.
As destiny would have it, in November 2019, I met Sue Knight, my coach and mentor today, embarking on my NLP training journey. Her words, "How you do one thing is how you do everything in life," sparked a reflection on my own patterns and a pursuit of excellence across various facets of my life.
The quest for excellence led me to explore models and draw inspiration from Olympians who epitomize greatness in their fields. Whether in art, literature, sports, or technology, the pursuit of excellence became a guiding principle, influencing every part of my life. I seek excellence in every little venture I participate in, even while connecting with my eight-year-old daughter.
Leaving a secure IT career to work in an NGO, then a decade in consulting, and eventually leaving a growing career—was it easy? Far from it. The journey involved prolonged contemplation, especially as a parent of two. Yet, the exploration of self, the pursuit of who I am, unfolded in unforeseen directions. As the Buddhist saying goes, that the longest journey one can undertake is living from head to the heart.
Who am I today? It is always changing, after completing my MBA from US, my aspiration was to become a Partner in a leading consulting firm. One might say I am a juxtaposition of contrasts and similarities—an introvert with aspirations to become a globally renowned trainer; an entrepreneur, spiritualist, and an artist all rolled into one, trying to create unique training programs for participants. My journey has included roles as a software programmer, an NGO worker, and a decade of consulting. Practicing Iyengar yoga, a form of meditation in action, keeps me grounded.
Today, I Train, Coach, and Consult. This is what Rescript Consultancy is about— beyond being a venture; it’s a commitment, an ode to building future leaders and high-performing teams. Leadership, as I perceive it, is a journey of perpetual growth, and with Rescript, I aspire to be the catalyst propelling that journey. Our programs, meticulously crafted, are not just about leadership development; they are about enriching lives and crafting destinies.
In the journey of self-discovery, I am always looking to find true essence of my story. Join me in this adventure, and together, let us embrace a life of growth and excellence.
The story of your life is not your life, it is your story. - John Barth
